Palace Run Remastered

$10.00

The Palace Semi-Infinite is richly-appointed, labyrinthine, and endless. Some call it “infinite”, but it must be partly bounded as it has relatively fixed access to the outside. Will you enter and explore its vast unread libraries, opulent chambers replete with treasure that won’t be missed, and non-Eucliden hallways that seem to never end?

The duchess of the North Wing is to be wed, but the baker’s union is striking after a recent outbreak of doughlung. The youngest prince of the Southwest Expansion has gone missing, last seen in the Bronze Armory, fiddling with a strange gauntlet. The Palace is of such scale that, at any given time, some portion is on fire.

What you’ll find in this TTRPG…

  • Tightly designed rules-light character generation and core mechanics that make even Into the Odd seem verbose

  • Tables for generating your own Palace Semi-Infinite and the encounters within

  • Designer’s commentary in the margins, with notes of how the design changed since early drafts

  • Sample player-characters with starting inventory

  • List of example denizens of the Palace

  • Spark table for generating details and further adventures in the Palace

What you’ll get…

  • The book: 16 pages, stapled zine, digest size (5.5” x 8.5”), full color cover and black-and-white interior, written by Ian McDougall of the Benign Brown Beast blog

  • The downloads: PDF of the zine automatically sent to your inbox, so that you can begin running through the Palace Semi-Infinite
